I have seen this before after every long drawn out war like Vietnam and Afghanistan The Army especially has to reinvent itself in every aspect..I don't know if it is a fatigue thing or what,but The standards have to be reintroduced in order to be an effective war fighting machine.

As someone who was Army I agree with you. Our leadership was lazy at best. There was never any accountability. They always just passed the buck on the someone of lower rank and said it was their fault. What’s up with the national guard members., Do they even do any PT?
