One of my favorite smallville moments is after Lex pushes Lionel and he goes down to confirm it’s him for the police, Clark is just standing in the crowd with this look on his face that says everything like suspecting him of murder while being stimultaneously aghast at the idea of Lex killing his dad. Lex just tries to ignore him but Clark follows him in the crowd it’s so good
