I’ll give you my red neck…..my husbands name is Jim Bob (NOT short for James Robert….just Jim Bob) and we still have his car from high school in our garage that hadn’t run in 36 years. It’s right next to the freezer full of deer meat.

Can I buy a jar of those canned tomatoes from you and have them shipped to Texas? They literally make my mouth water when you use them! 🤤😂

I grew up in the country and we had a burn barrel for trash. My husband’s family wasn’t quite as redneck but we do have beer fridges.

We have a mounted fish on the wall of our garage. My husband’s great-grandfather has been dead for 20+ years & he caught that fish in the pond that was on his property. I’m pretty sure it’s disintegrating but my husband called me from work about a year ago & Made me take a pic of it & text it to him so he could show it off to the corporate guys he was bragging to about it 🙄

Does your sauce have the seeds in it or do you pour your sauce through a sieve? Can you share your recipe? I find fresh tomato sauce to taste too acidic. 😬. Using canned tomatoes tastes better. IMO lol

Replying to @Destiny• mom | homesteading Lots of questions about how I started our small backyard garden out of the soil bags from my last video- and it’s really this one simple hack: planting in soil bags. this is the very first method I used when I started gardening and I’ve had a lot of success with it! It’s also a lot less intimidating if you are first starting out. I wanted to build the skills and learn how grow my own food and just do something fun + outdoors with Reign… but i didn’t have the space or commitment to creating this huge fancy outdoor garden ( also I really had no clue what I was doing and so I didn’t want to invest too much into this skill learning hobby and then mess up and all my money go to waste 😂) After trying this, and some other methods, planting out of soil bags *especially if you have kidsthat want to be involved* was the most simple and cost-effective way to getting started. Other reasons I love it: • I don’t have weeds sprouting through- I don’t want to have to use a bunch of chemicals or constantly pull weeds from the garden beds • I can move these around to another spot and keep it temperature controlled if needed • super cheap, especially if the vegetables don’t grow as I planned or I mess something up. $8.99/bag at Costco but I prefer going to your local nursery and finding a higher quality organic soil • this took maybe 30 minutes in total, and reign helped. So easy and quick! I am no expert gardener, so if you have any cool tips you love, please share!! And if you ever try this, please let me know🪴 #gardeningtips #gardeninghack #gardeningwithkids #familytime #outdooractivities #MomsofTikTok #kidsactivities #growyourfood #ideasforkids #growingfood #growingfoodathome #healthyliving #eatrealfood #selfsufficient #selfsustainable #sahm #homesteading #fyp
