Realistically, once someone realizes it’s attached they’ll probably let go because stealing purses like that is a spur of the moment thing and once they’ve been around you long enough to be recognized they’d be in more danger taking it, so they usually run off

no it most theft cases like this people who hold on, are most often struck and best on untill the attacker realizes they cant take it, people get shot over petty theft, you think they wouldnt beat up on someone holding their purse back?

idk man in my experience if people act like they have valuables they are way more likely to be robbed. my grandma for example always clutches her purse like her life depends on it and shes been robbed like 7 times in her life.
