My Fil told me how lucky we were to get a mortgage rate at 6.7 % because his was 15%. Had to remind him his house was 89k he bought in 1996 and ours was 565k

100k is lower middle class? 😂😂 out of touch aren’t we? Inflation adjusted household incomes have risen quite a bit since 2000, and currently it stands at about 82,000. That’s the median. Thats middle class.
