I had no idea Kansas was this bad. I had a friend over a decade ago loose her LPN over missing a mandatory CEU. She got all her hours but there was a new mandatory one. She completed it immediately and they never gave her license back. Lost her entire career over a CEU. Had 4 small kids and unemployable over a CEU!

Read the KS LPN-IV certified scope of practice. It’s gray and leaves a lot of room for errors and interpretation.

Another issue: We need to demand retirement packages like all other first responders. Firefighters, police, military all have guaranteed retirement. Healthcare are the only ones with no guarantee.
