Ok but seriously, let’s respectfully talk about it… Is the bar too low for dads? Do we as moms bring overwhelm upon ourselves by micromanaging, criticizing, and pushing away the dads? Are dads simply not making an effort to be more involved, or is their capacity truly tapped out by doing all they can to provide for their families? What about the lack of a village/community support system in raising the kids and caring for the mothers…leading to moms doing way more than designed to do alone, and partners to rely solely on each other? What about the internalized overwhelm and pressure dads carry, but have less access to a solid support system because society dictates that only simps need help and “real” men carry the weight alone? And what about when both parents are working—what systems do couples & families have in place to ensure the mental & physical load being shared healthily? It’s a LOT!😮‍💨 And honestly, the last thing we need to do is pit moms and dads against each other. We have to work together to forge & normalize a better way of doing life with our kids—for their well-being AND our own. Feel free to kindly discuss in the comments, and remember to allow space for different POVs with curiosity.👏🏽 As we continue in this new chapter, we’re excited to dive into topics like these in our upcoming PULSE 6-month membership (for couples & singles ready for a committed relationship). Join us for much more on healthy relating, intimacy, and healing. ❤️‍🔥 In Brenden’s upcoming men’s cohort, partners and fathers can get the kind of genuine support they need to sharpen their mission & purpose, master their sxxual energy, and build a body that can handle what life throws at them. Share with a man who would thrive in this kind of brotherhood. ✊🏽 And finally, if you or someone you know if having a baby, check out Postpartum Glow, my 40-day self-paced course to rediscover yourself, reconnect with your body, and reawaken your pleasure postpartum.✨ All three in my bio link. Love you, Wild Ones! #parentsoftiktok #parenthood #postpartum #dadsoftiktok #momsover30
