from a consumers pov, i would think the dye kit would be the one to stain skin as well not the tint? the name tint almost gives off that it wouldn't be as strong as a dye

Jess :
Does anyone else naturally think ‘tint’ seems like it would be lighter and less effective than ‘dye’? The names feel misleading! Can we please add a distinction to the boxes that clarifies the difference, eg one box says “darker, fuller effect” or something✨

The tint kit should be renamed to Stain kit

The confusion is because you name these in the opposite way to any eyebrow salon. If you get a tint in the salon it doesn’t dye the skin, but dye does

Genuinely how did you not ever foresee this as being an issue with such strikingly similar packaging and product name?!

The names feel confusing though I won’t lie. I get my brows dyed often by my brow/lash tech and if I was buying this product I would go for a dye seeing as that’s what I would normally get in salon based on the name alone. But seeing the results you’ve posted, the tint is actually more like the service I get and it just seems all opposite. I think a bit more clarification on the front of the boxes would be helpful!

Chloe | Lashes + Brows SE Melb :
Can I ask a question/make a suggestion? In the professional brow world, dye is the option that stains the skin & tint is the more natural option that only grabs the hair. I worry people will also purchase what’s they’ve had done professionally to try at home. For example: they have been getting tint in salon for a natural, hair only colour. Then will purchase the tint DIY option thinking it will be the same results they’ve had professionally and end up with a skin stain. I hope this makes sense 🤞🏼

I mean I’m as old as dirt… 😂 ….but I’ve been using this product for so many years…I probably would have picked up TINT thinking it was the OG 😳

This is such a great way to approach this situation! As a business, you are taking on board any feedback and concerns, along with explaining the products thoroughly. I was hesitant to use mine for the first time after seeing the original post, now I feel a lot more confident😊

Shay 🙋🏻♀️ :
This must be so confusing for customers as in the professional brow industry, “Tint” is a much softer result, more so tinting only the hairs however “dye” is a longer lasting stain on both the skin and hairs.

Agree with the comments.. as a consumer, I would think “dye” is darker and more permanent and “tint” is lighter and less permanent

You need to rename/ swap the name of these kits and from a beauty therapist perspective it’s confusing. 🫤 basically this is opposite to what we have in salon, it just doesn’t make sense. 😅

I also accidentally bought the wrong one and it’s so bad it doesn’t even work it turns out patchy and gross looking not sure why it’s even an option when the original one works so well
