@agrotonomy: We’re vertical farming jalapeños, serranos, and bird’s eye chilis on our aeroponic towers. All these peppers take between 70–100 days to reach maturity after transplanting the seedlings. The Scoville scale measures chili pepper heat in Scoville Heat Units (SHU). The higher the number, the hotter the pepper! * Jalapeño: 2,500–8,000 SHU * Serrano: 10,000–25,000 SHU * Bird’s Eye: 50,000–100,000 SHU Jalapeños turn red when fully ripe and are commonly dried and smoked to make chipotle peppers. Serranos are best eaten raw and are commonly used in fresh salsas. Bird’s eye chilis may be tiny, but they pack serious heat and are a staple in Thai cuisine. #pepper #chilli #aeroponics #agriculture #farming #gardening #soilless #hydroponics
