Guys it's not that the new art is 'better'. The old art was STOLEN. I think both pieces are great but you can tell that the plagiarized version matched the background better. Lugias pose is more dynamic and that's why it doesn't fit with the new Ho-oh because the original pieces were visually connected without background. These pieces are definitely good but also obvious bandaids.

Lugia’s pose is so weird and only looks good at the end of the animation where he’s bursting out of the water. It’s annoying especially since Lugia wasnt the issue and didn’t even need to be changed apart from Ho-oh in it’s animation
