wait.. idk ha pero I think namisinterpret ng iba dito yung context sa “UP ka nalang muna”, the phrase wasn’t meant to “lang” UP, kumbaga they’re saying na mag UP ka “nalang” instead of this school ganon. please tell me someone understands this part 😭 it’s like saying choose this instead of this, it’s not meant to downgrade UP by the word “lang” HUHUHU

:UP is for intelligent and academically inclined students from DIFFERENT SOCIO ECONOMIC STATUS. Regardless, kung mayaman or mahirap ka basta matalino ka matatanggap ka sa UP. Top university is UP kaya kahit mayaman, gusto makapag aral doon

This is the problem when u get ur hopes too high. There r many top unis abroad that dont give financial aid and I always see financially incapable ppl still apply (ik it's shooting ur shot but please assess urself first before doing so).. Please be realistic so u don't end up hurting urself..

UP isn’t for those who settle. It’s for students committed to academic excellence and devoted to serving others. Even if the interviewer belittles UP, the facts speak volumes: it’s consistently the Philippines’ top university (QS, Webometrics, Edurank etc.) in both local and global rankings, and many students live that commitment through grit and thoughtfulness. She doesn’t truly deserve her spot at UP. There are others who are more grateful, and are more deserving. It feels especially unfair given that it’s a publicly funded university. Aura pa lang burgis talaga.🥺
