Valentino’s “Don’t Talk to Me” Day 🦁😾 Some days you’re just NOT in the mood… and Valentino is proving that even lions have bad days! 😂 Today, Valentino was looking particularly grumpy, even as one of the females casually walked past him. No, he wasn’t interested in socialising, playing, or making friends. His message was very clear: “Please respect my personal space today!” 😾 It’s important to understand that behaviour like this doesn’t automatically mean aggression. Lions, just like other social animals, have individual personalities, moods and boundaries. A lion may growl, vocalise, stare or show an irritated posture simply because he wants to be left alone. 💚 Valentino is not aggressive towards us. We know his behaviour and respect his signals. When he tells us he’s having a rough day, the best thing we can do is give him space and allow him to settle on his own. Wildlife care is not about forcing interaction — it’s about understanding, respecting and listening to the animals in our care.
