the fact that people blindly follow everything a guy with almost no life experience says baffles me. He barely leaves his house and almost 100% of his knowledge comes from reddit. the man let his own teeth rot out, never takes care of his health (even after his health scare) and he's obscenely lazy, but yeah he's a beacon of intelligence and reason.

The real answer is twitch alongside many sites banned 90% of conservatives in the waves of leftist mass reports that happened during 2016-2020. Asmon didn't comment on most politics until recently so he avoided these ban waves. Now Asmon is one of the few streamers that isn't a lefty so he attracts an audience that have largely had no political streamers close to their beliefs.

I think it's a lot more simple than that, these streamers realize there's tons of money in right wing grifting from the promotion, bots, PAC funding/etc. Tons of money is being pumped into right wing propaganda and into making it appear it's popular with bots. It's basic money for grifting.
