GST isn’t on EVERYTHING you buy. There is no carbon tax. Not everyone has a home to pay taxes on. Luxury vehicle tax on $100k? Y’all aren’t struggling. Alcohol & smokes aren’t a necessity AND actually cost us all ALOT in HC & more. Capital gains is taxes on passive income NOT a necessity. I agree taxes are excessive but at least be realistic and stop exaggerating

In th 90's the first 2 federal tax brackets were 17% and 26%. Now the first 2 federal tax brackets are 14% and 20.5%. I'm paying way less taxes now than back then.
