As a hygienist, 100% of my patients who only waterpik have gum disease. Please still use regular floss, its the ONLY thing that cleans under the gum tissue

I understand this is an ad. But, there are other factors to consider such as previous ortho hx and usage of occlusal guards/retainers. Just switching to an electric doesn’t fix what the underlying cause could actually be…for anyone reading.

I don’t use a water pick or an electric toothbrush and I have near perfect teeth. They always compliment how good they are. You don’t need those things to have healthy gums and teeth.

As a hygienist, I also buy their floss and use that same floss for my patients. Butter soft tooth brush is great too! Recession will also occur with an unaligned bite. Orthodontist consult for braces or Invisalign to align bite and or a nightguard. I sleep in a nightguard every night!
