In my old e91 only right side handles was bad, when you fix this early like i was you can use alcantara fabric or similiar to fix it, but only before it starts to dropping pieces.

I’ve owned 3 e9x never had this issue or cup holder getting stuck has to be user error 😭

BMW knew about this and instead of fixing it they just made it easier to replace the handle 😂
