didn't Aiden sell his company to Wayfair or something? Big was very rich & now that's all hers. Miranda bought a house in Brooklyn before it was popular & they completely redid it. Harry is a rich divorce lawyer & they still live in the apartment Charlotte got in her divorce

SATC showed them having money above what a regular viewer would have. But if you weren’t in your late 20s or your 30s in 1998, that probably wouldn’t resonate the same. Carrie wore $400 shoes in the 90s that was crazy.

When I first watched this show in the 90s- only being a couple years younger than the characters- they were grounded and relateable an imperfect and fun. Now they are all delusional a-holes. I wish this series had just stopped after season 6 before the characters turned terrible.

Aidan was a high-end, acclaimed furniture designer with a $$ storefront in a chic NYC neighborhood 20+ years ago! He was well-off then, so it’s no surprise he’s a multi-millionaire now. Big was always a multi-millionaire, and his wealth would have only grown. He had a high net worth nearly 20 years ago to buy their first $$$$ penthouse in the movie.

I have a theory that rich people no longer know what a normal person would be able to afford. Especially the made for TV movies where the single teacher/nurse/waitress mom with 3 teens has a giant brick home with marble countertops and built in appliances in the best neighborhood in the state.

Nothing feels real anymore! I miss when they’d hit up diners or thrift stores, grab takeout, and eat cake on a bench. The makeup and hair in SATC also used to be way more relaxed. Now it’s like we never see them out in the real world, just in fancy homes and restaurants and there aren’t those fun little side stories like before.

Carrie has Mr big money and her money . Charlotte has treys divorce money , family money , harry is successful divorce attorney, Miranda has money for being a succefull corporate lawyer and probably investments that she had made.
