i quit by just stopping even if i felt like listening. Its hard but your doing it purely for Allah so its all worth it ad Allah will reward you with so much. And honestly life now feels normal you will still sometimes feel like listening to music but dont go back, just have self discipline and slowly just never feel sucha strong will to listen to it if you consistently fight ur nafs., because when you carry on fighting your nafs, shaytan and your nafs becomes weak, and your iman becomes twice as strong!! quitting music is an investment for your akhirah
