She claims in some videos that she’s not allowed to tip. Some videos she said she gets reimbursed for “even the tip”. Then she has claimed to have been directed to “award” an employee with a gift card if they “pass with flying colors”.

Mystery shoppers don’t know or decide if a company passes or fails - the shopper reports their experience and the company decides how to handle the results, if they are bad.

I work for McDonald’s corporate and said the same things about the McDonald’s shops plus we stopped using mystery shoppers in 2018.
