You can actually do a 20 mile hike at the opposite end of the narrows, and go all the way down to the start, have someone drop you off around 6am and you won’t reach heavy water features until around 12, depending on rain and water level. Just did it this year

Do you think doing the narrows hike alone is safe? I’m going with my family but I don’t think they want to do this /: they’ll know I’m up there but is there enough people to not be completely “alone”

I went there in February and that water was no joke!!! I made it about 400-500 meters before I couldn't feel my feet and turned around! 😂 Can still say I've been in the narrows!

Are there a lot of flying bugs?? We go in a few weeks and our daughter HATES bugs. she is 13 and will scream or try to run from bugs. that can be dangerous in Zion on those trails.

I see that you didn’t rent any of the gear. I’ll be there next month and can’t decide. Haha I’ve got hiking poles and Chacos so I’m hoping I can save a buck and skip the rentals. But I wanna be safe!!
