I see nothing wrong with this. Him or Cleveland. It’s not about making it diverse.. it’s just more appropriate in general considering the role of those characters

The only with Cleveland one. I don’t mind because at less they sound the same. Khan sounds more white than when Toby played him. Tho it seems to be only okay to do it white VAs to push them out.

Maybe it’s just because the voice you are used to is based on stereotypes of what white people think Asian people sound like versus an actual Asian person doing the voice

Ronny Chieng’s casting I think is because Ronny’s humor and comedy sets is/are very much in the spirit of Khan’s character. Honestly it’s a bit jarring of a change but I think we’ll get used to it. But you know, keep grifting op

As a Lao fan of KotH, neither one of them sound like a Lao person. I’m kinda happy to hear actual Lao language in the new one but I’m just happy to see Lao representation on TV regardless of who voice them. It’s called acting after all.
