This is so real. I love my husband and he does so much for me, especially post op, but damn when he just stands there (or lies there) when I really need something...I feel like such a B, and to keep my sass in check I get up and do it myself.

Asked my husband this morning to put my toothbrush in my 2nd bathroom-the one I can easily get in and out of- and when I hobble in there hoping to brush my teeth he says oh wait here I’ll go get it.. he had ALL day to put it in there! I’m on day 1 of recovery and already crying

I fractured my fibula in January. I live alone, so I had to drag myself out of the icy driveway and up 12 steps to the house. Using a grabber tool saved me!

Did you try being on a wheelchair and someone rolls you where you don't want to go? Or away from where you want to be? Or speaks on your behalf just because they are pushing you?

My mom comes to stay with me during my recovery, she always wants to help but whenever she helps my hold my crutches, she always forgets and walks away with them🤣

It makes me so mad. It’s one of the reasons I’m debating on breaking up with the guy I’m with. Never has any of the girls I was with told me to wait when I asked for something that could be done right then. But every man tells me to wait. Like what? Just give me my medical devices/meds🙏🙏😭😭
