So interesting to think, A tool originally described as a way to increase output and 'revolutionize' the work force is also being used as a companion and confidant. But the terminator, bicentennial man, and any other robot to conscious being movie warned us. 😅

while i agree up to a point. i think people have pointed out kendra ignored the AI telling her she lost the plot from the jump.

Claude is aimed at the enterprise/tech/coding market and doesn't have a persistent memory across chats like ChatGPT. so every time she makes a chat, she basically has to tell it some story that it likely interprets as role-playing. either way, they're updating it to nudge delusional people towards mental health treatment more often.
