Do they actually get crispy though? Every time I’ve cooked zucchini it’s soft and squishy. Maybe coring it helps

Cut the zucchini into a cylinder the length of the corer, core it, then cut rings. The way she did it makes my eye twitch with its inefficiency

The sauce seems similar to a Tatziki just using the squash instead of cucumber. Very resourceful.

Pro tip, if you have an old school style potato peeler, the curved blade is great as an impromptu corer. Since zucchini is soft, you can easily poke it through and just use the curve to hollow it out

For years I tried to convince my kids that zucchini tastes good, they absolutely refused to even try it and then one day they finally did and loved it and now I regret it because they eat so much of my zucchini 😭 😂

I'd just cut the zucchini in half, scoop out the centers, and make them half moons instead of rings. seems easier and I don't need a new tool.

i don't really get the 'save money' part of it. cougettes are 2,50 to 4€ a piece here, there are a lot of vegetables that are cheaper. Maybe if you grow your own and you've got so many you don't know what to do with them. They're good, just wouldn't put the in the same sentence with 'saving money'😅
