I love celebrations and making special memories but it also bums me out that most people who do this will use this stuff for an hour and then throw most of it out after, maybe we could incorporate real apples as decor, the cookies you found are awesome, and then maybe have them color back to school pictures that you keep instead of generic banners to throw out? Alternatively keep everything for next year

I’ve been doing something similar on the first and last day since my kiddos were first in school. They are 9 and 7 year old now and its one of their favorite traditions. It also helps with the nerves!!🤍
