In NYC no one cares about what others do. Mentally it does help. I have only lived in NYC. But when I’ve traveled in LA I got a vibe that you always have to be on. Just cause everyone talks to everyone. The sun is soooo nice compared to NYC though. But I love walking a lot in NYC. At th nd. No place is perfect.

Her last point only applies to celebrities (or wannabe influencers) in west L.A. That is not true in most of the L.A. area, nobody cares what you look like walking around Pasadena or San Pedro or Porter Ranch.

Respectfully, this only applies to a very specific part of LA. True LA natives aren’t like this and don’t care. It’s the transplants that bring this type of vibe. Be who you want. Wear what you want. Do what you want. 🫶🏼
