So, does this sheriffs department not have anything better to do with their time? 😡 There are so many kids in TRUE dangerous situations and NOTHING is done! The sheriffs department should make sure the streets are safe enough for the kids to be able to be out doing kid stuff like this! 😡

dude, I know so many people who let there kids walk 40 minutes to school each day, they were his age and they were fine, I even walked to the gas station with out my parents around at that age, that's wild.

Meanwhile in Japan children who are half this boys age are allowed even encouraged to take much longer walks to run errands or to visit a relative or several other things. they even have kid routes indicated on bus routes to provide the children a window look ou seat view on their very fast trains so they can enjoy their trips & be safer due to their tiny stature. Seems our country should focus more on eliminating crime and holding criminals accountable so good parents dont get criminalized just trying to teach their kids independence.

I was allowed to walk a half a mile to the grocery store for my mom and dad in the 60s. And on occasion to the drugstore to pick up prescriptions. I was brain trained relentlessly to look both ways before you cross the street and before you step off the curb look again both ways.

I see kids walking around our town that look younger than 10. I’m always saying why are these little kids out here by themselves. However it’s usually a few kids together yet they are little like 5 or 6 yrs old probably.

Meanwhile, there’s people out there who want to have kids let’s protect it in the work environment and able to work overnight shifts, there are people out there who are training their six and seven-year-olds how to shoot a gun, there’s people out there who pay no attention to what their kids are doing online and give their kids a phone with Internet access at six and seven years old and don’t put any parent controls on it. But this is something to arrest someone for.
