What value to society is given from yet another live service game that tries to copy the success of fortnite? what value do we get from the new assassin's Creed games that are no longer about assassins and are the same big open worlds with maps full of activities? indie game developers are not one group that can be universally judged for whatever reason

I think it’s unfair to say this about Toby fox as he literally does the music and soundtracks as well as almost being a solo dev for the past 10 years. He’s created about 5 culture defining soundtracks/ albums that have permeated there way through online culture. There’s countless people who still listen and use undertale music in the background of video and they don’t even know where it’s from

I still remember that FNAF, since its inception, has had a generally "lackadaisical" approach to story telling. Even if Steel Wool is "soft rebooting" and doing a good job at it so far in "Secret of The Mimic," FNAF still generally has zero story consistency.
