Have you attended adoration yet? The Eucharist is the difference. You cannot receive communion as a non Catholic but you CAN spend time in His holy presence. I hope you do! Praying for you! Peace be with you!

Check out the church of Christ. I converted from the baptist faith a few years back. The Churches of Christ began in the 19th-century Restoration Movement, aiming to follow only the New Testament as their guide (we still learn from the Old Testament). They reject creeds, use a cappella worship, and practice baptism for the remission of sins and weekly communion. This pattern is believed to closely match the first-century church and our autonomous from one another. Our authority comes from scripture alone.

When I was researching Catholicism I found myself loving Jesus more and more. But I had friends (who weren’t walking in the journey with me but watching more from the sidelines) who weren’t walking convinced I was losing my salvation and worshipping Mary and the Saints. When every step was always about Jesus for me.

You should try to find a local parish and go to Eucharistic adoration and see how it is! It’s a beautiful way to spend time with our Lord. I like to read a spiritual book while I’m there, pray, etc. Peace be with you!
