as someone who has managed to heal severe cptsd with medications that heighten neuroplasticity/neurogenesis, all of this. The difference between my pre-treatment brain and post-treatment brain is night and day. My wife had less severe cptsd and has managed tremendous healing without the need for the medication. Change is possible, healing is possible. My trauma started as a child, and now that I'm starting to experience really joy and happiness for the first time, I can genuinely say that even as a child it's something I never felt. Just remember to love yourself, be patient, and trust the process, you're making progress whether it feels like you are or not!

I suspect CPTSD but it seems impossible to get any mental health care on the NHS, GP doesn't take my memory issues seriously, and so then how does one heal without access to therapy? js
