Disagree - i felt ‘safe’ with the misses after 22+yrs and 3 kids - she runs off has an affair - disgusting and disrespectful so i would argue respect is top of the tree then friendship love ect respect has to come first

Here’s the problem with Nietsches idea though: if ‘love’ is based on finding someone who does something for YOU makes YOU feel a certain way etc … it’s not true love, because the focus is still on oneself and what one gains from the relationship. While of course it’s nice to have someone who makes you feel good, I would argue that true love is about wanting the best for the ‘other’ even when it costs us

wish more people saw this. them more people would stop being "friend zoned" and they could actually have an amazing life together. but I think people want to keep that friend as they are conditioned to see relationships fail
