We had noticed a lingering odor with both purifier, stainless steal and even daily sometimes 2x daily litter cleaning. A few months ago my male cat ended up having emergency surgery for a blocked urinary crystal issue. Since the surgery and special diet no more smell! So if not already on a urinary care and eating wet food 2x daily I highly recommend to save yourself 5-10k 🤭😅

Got the same air purifier and can attest to it making a huge difference! The auto-detection doesn’t seem to react to odor but you can program is to run at a higher mode for certain periods of time throughout the day to consistently clear out smell effectively.
