I went with Dr. Mustafa Bagli in Turkey. I got there and asked to reduce the width of my nose and add a bridge. The flight cost 800$ and the hotel was included in the price of the surgery. I landed and got picked up in a luxury van and went to my doctor and he explained that I should not compare myself to others and he will work with my features to give me a beautiful nose. The surgery was the next day and I stopped eating at 5 am the day of. They ran blood tests and wheeled me in. The anesthesia worked perfectly and I didn’t even realize that I fell asleep and I woke up realising the surgery was over. The nurses were on me all night to minimize bruising and watch out for complications or me being in pain. I got discharged the next day and was taken to get medicine with instructions on how to clean my stitches. I couldn’t breathe through my nose and my rib felt sore as if someone punched me. Mouth breathing was annoying and sleeping on my back took getting used to. 5 days later I met with my surgeon to remove the splints in my nose and see the results. I was scared I botched myself but assured me that I was swollen. I was given a second cast to wear for a weak with anti bacterial cream and a nose retainer.
