power user here. its abominable. keeps losing train of thought, massive hallucinations, impersonal, major memory loss even after 3 messages, at times forgets to answer all out of 3 questions. it's seriously unusable currently.

I used chat5 today for 10 hours straight, I had to restart my browser like 30 times, it got dementia about 4 times, churning out random maths equations, gave me the run around all day, then put it's ai hands up said , basically "my bad". painful to say the least

It’s good but I wouldn’t call it super impressive for how much they hyped it. It took them two years to release this after a massive head start… They are falling behind.

GPT 5 is great, but horrible at data analytics. Gemini is much better for data analytics. Also GPT 5 keeps losing its ability to run python code.

I used it to learn and help me go pro se in court. I have trouble with it because not only do I catch it making mistakes but then it lies about the mistakes and attempts to cover them up. I had to stop using it and I'm now trying to use Claude now as my digital paralegal. It sucks trying to transfer all that time and data, only to start over with another AI.

openai also deliberately obfuscated the graphs and apparently now is part of palantir. so... lost all of my trust. also that whistleblower they might have killed is still going on.

I just started using AI and I loved it at first but I am noticing it contradicts itself and makes blunders pretty regularly. I am researching how to insulate my garage as well as comparing portable ac units and a few other things but none are very complicated. I would not trust it for anything important.
