Ummm I don’t think that is right because me and my boyfriend‘s mom has been best friends since I first got with him and and of course we have boundaries, but I trust her enough and she doesn’t go off and say whatever I say about our relationship to him and I don’t really talk about our relationship with her and if I do, she’s normally saying like oh girl he does the same thing to me . They have a great relationship and we have a great relationship and we’ve been great. So it may just be your relationship that’s like that and I also think it depends on the mother cause I know there are some people out there that have like evil mother-in-law‘s but.
