If you lightly dry out the fig leaves in a low oven the leaves get more fragrant (almost coconuty), and the steeped cream for ice cream etc is so so delicious! Nice haul 🙌

I live in Lincoln, Rhode Island, a bucolic old northeast town 15 minutes out of the city. I know all the local farmer markets and buy there all season. I had to go to the city (upscale) farmers market in my old town to get my knives sharpened by this guy who sets up there. The lines were ridiculous. I’m so friggin lucky.
