Ingrown hairs: switch to a 1 Max 2 blade razor, exfoliate before/after shaving, never dry shave!!

But isn’t the same concept for waxing /sugaring / epilating? It traps the hair under the skin, basically calling for ingrown hair then (while still exfoliating and moisturising) so based on this.. we either get a not smooth finish to prevent ingrown or deal with it?
