i understand his dad,my dad never use to cry cause he was also taught it's a weakness(men just don't cry),glad Lewis can show emotion,it is ok if boys cry🫶🏼

For all of you out there that don't know but crying is precious and it's also a sacrifice to God. It also shows genuine emotion to a situation. This is also a black man facing adversity in his field so why show your enemies that your "weak" your haters want to see you cry so they can feel happy and gloat. Keeping those tears is exactly what help him to become Sir Lewis Hamilton!

remember that the whole “dont let me see you shed a tear” thing is more about society and toxic masculinity, rather than anthony being a horrible father. especially back then, and im sure the pressure of seeing lewis become something great, people didnt really talk about men showing emotions compared to now. also with being black, or just poc in general, men tend to be treated worse in their communities for showing emotion and are perceived differently compared to like white males showing emotion.

I can so relate to this. My dad taught me from a young age that I am not allowed to speak about my emotions or not allowed to cry as it shows you are weak.
