To be fair, you CAN cast crucio and not mean it, it just won’t hurt the person as much or be as effective. An example of this is Harry with Bellatrix when the spell didn’t inflict a lot of pain, then again on Amycus Carrow when he did genuinely want to inflict harm. Furthermore, when Natty is at the receiving end of the curse, she’s unable to walk for days afterward. Obviously it could very well just be plot armour as the MC, but I genuinely believe that Sebastian didn’t truly want to inflict pain from a storyline perspective, and that’s why we can just walk it off afterwards. We are Bellatrix in this scenario and Seb is Harry- he cast the curse on us but it didn’t harm us as much as it should have. Don’t forget, that curse sends people flying, writhe in pain etc and we just clutched our stomach for a few seconds then got up and carried on lol.

I cast it on Sebastian only because he’s being insensitive about it. He talks about it like it’s no big deal and doesn’t grasp how serious it is. Realistically if I was really in that situation I would cast it on him because it’s the only way he’ll understand the gravity of it and know how dangerous the dark arts actually are

yeah I turned Sebastian in 🤷🏻♀️He had gone too far and at a certain point you need to be held responsible for your actions. He could have used any other spell to subdue his uncle but chose to murder him.
