This describes exactly what iv been trying to explain. The emotions are so big. It takes 48hours to settle in then it's obsessively asking about how many more sleeps do they have left. we unfortunately dont agree on parenting between houses. If we have appointments or preschool the day after handover its full on meltdowns. Just diagnosed ASD-2 and global delay and starts school next year. Do you have any links or more reading on this?

My son is a little older so he could ask for it………. He needs 24 hrs to switch houses and not jump right into living the life of the transitioned house. It is a much easier transition and a lot less fights when we give him the 24 hrs.
