The last day at work I tried not to make eye contact with him, I knew I would start crying if my eyes would meet his. Just before going home our eyes met, few meters between us, he smiled thinking we have a future together and I looked at him knowing this is the last time we will see each other, and that’s when he noticed how I just froze and stared at him, just embracing him with my soul, he looked back at me & titled his head in confusion. I held back my tears, gave a smile and he said smiled back and said slowly “I wish you a happy holiday” and I wished him back but in my mind I said “a life without you is a life without happiness”. And we parted ways. When I came home I cried myself to sleep, 3 years has passed but I still cry and I will cry for the rest of my life.
