I hated his film in college. Wasn’t asked to do much and never showed true nfl talent to me. He’s not very accurate and didn’t really show nfl arm strength. We haven’t seen him command an offense or have to make difficult decisions. He did flash some really awesome throws and creativity, but it wasn’t the norm.

ppl Crack me up 😆 im pleased!!!! Ya nothing to flashy but he stayed calm picked up a few first downs and showed his legs a little. this is pre season guys its not a big deal. he looked just like I expected calm poised a few passes could have been better but he's green ... I didn't see red flags. overall he looked good ....were gonna be fine skol

He looks pretty comfortable which is a good sign, a lot of rookies look awkward out there. He has a massive arm, just needs to put a little more touch on his passes. The overthrown ball to Jackson was an example of this. Kevin O’Connell rates joint practices more important than pre season games so Wednesday and Thursday is massive for him
