the pacing of the show makes it seem way way WAYY longer. but that's particularly why I dont hate the pacing like many other do. The pacing gives me time to love, acknowledge and accept the characters luffy randomly invites. Js gotta give Jinbe time and he'll eventually hit me like the others have.
