I have bipolar 2 and my manic episodes are rage filled and me blacking out and being so destructive and no one seems to understand that I literally have memory gaps and can’t remeber what I did or say and they only want to think my disorder consists of depression when it’s so much more than that

as someone diagnosed with bipolar disorder, it really is a hard illness to handle, even for those who are just around or with someone who has it. we say mean things, we get violent, we yell when it’s not deserved, we argue too much, we go too far sometimes. it’s not healthy and it’s not fair, to either side. :(
