@nicholasr629: Today, Saturday August 9th, 2025. The Hawthorn Woods Police Department and the Lake Zurich Fire Department responded to the area of Fairfield Rd and Holmes Dr. in Hawthorn Woods Illinois. There was a crash with heavy damage and multiplr injuries, per fire radio traffic one victim was in full cardiac arrest. A MABAS box alarm was requested bringing many ambulances and other recources to the scene. The Lake County Major Crash Assistance Team responded and is conduction and investigation.
