I got a sthil top handle saw and I use a 17in 16in 14in and 12in bar on it I climb but I also take down trees with it all the time. I do plan to try that one also seeing my sthil is $550

I have the Makita 18v electric version of this. It’s very powerful and perfect for climbing and pruning palm trees due to it’s light weight. I like it’s quiet operation and eliminates the need to pull start while in a tree in case it shuts off intentionally or otherwise.
