@whatsmadisonreadingnow: Replying to @Kenzi I asked people to recommend me books they DIDN’T like, and now I’m reading them! Book 7 (Divine Rivals) is behind me, so here’s to hoping the wins continue with Book 8… #BookTok #bookish

i just couldnt get past a particular part in the "love story" enough for me to even want them together 🤣 which made me hate this book.

I thought an abundance of Katherine’s was cute but nothing special. John Green is probably better at tragedy than comedy imo

It feels criminal to have a John Green book in here 🤯 I loved this book when I read it but that was ~15 years ago so I'm curious to hear your thoughts!

I felt like Divine Rivals was significantly better than the sequel of Ruthless Vows. It wasn’t bad, but not as good.

Abundance of Katherine’s is a cute ya book, it’s not a bad entry to John green if you want something light, but it’s kinda forgettable.

A book I hated that I just finished to hate it, is “The unwanted wife” by Natasha Anders. The mmc is one of the worst mmc’s I have ever read in a book

If you sorta liked Divine Rivals (same as me) might be worth A River Enchanted by her. In my opinion it is amazing, gorgeous writing, mature relationships, beautiful story that’s more cohesive than DR even though you get the world opening up in book 2. I don’t get where that authors hype is

I read AAOK when I was 16 and no one knew who John Green was yet. I LOVED IT. It altered how I viewed the YA genre at the time - it might not stand up as well now but for 2007, it was a game changer for me.

As a teen Abundance of Katherines was my favorite John Green book, i need to reread it to see if it still holds water but I remember preferring it over Looking for Alaska and FIOS

I read Paper Towns, Looking for Alaska, and An Abundance of Katherines back to back to back like 15 or so years ago. So they all bleed together and I can't remember what happens in which book, but I remember enjoying all of them.
