It was being the dogsbody for months and months on minimum wage that stunk. Scrape, sweep, glue, repeat, fitting 100’s of vinyls on new builds got a little tiresome 😂

Really? Lol. Today I’ve got 2 top landings, 2 sets of stairs, 3 bedrooms and a bathroom to do, for my day rate which works out to be roughly 105 bucks 🤣 (on my own) 😭 I’ve only been doing it for a little over 3 years though.

I was a fitter for 27 yrs, stopped at 45. I'm now 57 and my im starting to really feel the effects of it on my back...even though I stopped 12 yrs ago, the damage was done. You need to be earning big bucks doing this job, charge plenty, its hard on the body.
