It is acceptable that he fell in love with HER soul. But what makes me sad is he fell in love with her NOT KNOWING she's Naksu HERSELF. Not the Naksu that MADE NAKSU. Like, her memories are complete gone. honestly anybody who complained about s2 did NOT get the plot or the point of the show like bruh. he fell in with her soul hence "alchemy of SOULS" AND also why he had to fall in love with her in s2 as well. ending s1 on a happy ending would've left plenty of unanswered plots, like her literally being in jin bu-yeon's body, still a soul shifter- anyway sorry for the rant i love this show :p <3
