I find it odd that he left and hung around on a deck for half hour and then Amy only gets back 5 minutes after him. Red flag did he try make her leave and argument happened and she followed him back to the room

Why is Brad on the pool deck at 730 am. I thought he was supposed to wait in the cabin in case Amy came back. According to ships report parents went to desk at 723 and tannoy announcement for Amy 733, minutes before doors opened.
